The website was spearheaded by the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association. Program partners are the University of Minnesota Extension Service and the Minnesota Grown program. Several features of the website include:

  • Locate an Expert: Your online directory for Minnesota 's garden centers, landscape contractors and designers, tree and flower growers, irrigation contractors, and lawn, tree and garden services.
  • Certified Solutions: Offers you the opportunity to ask your questions to a certified professional via e-mail. These questions with their responses are posted online monthly.
  • Yard and Garden Briefs: Articles compiled by the University of Minnesota Extension Service provide in-depth information about weeds, lawns and groundcovers, houseplants, trees, insects, and more.
  • Award Winning Landscapes: View MNLA's Landscape Design award winners, and you'll see why these are some of Minnesota 's finest landscapes. A panel of professionals in landscape education, landscape architecture, and horticulture evaluate and select projects to receive an honor or merit award.
  • Minnesota Grown Calendar: Even in Minnesota , gardening is a year-round event. The calendar provides suggestions with helpful tips about plant care, flower beds, lawn maintenance and more.
  • Plant of the Month: Expand your plant knowledge by learning about a new plant every month.
  • Invasive Plant and Pest Alert: This direct link to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture's website will explain invasive species that are problematic for our state.
