The use of natural hardscape and native plant materials helps to blend this landscape with the existing natural surroundings. Mesabi Red Trap boulders were used to create boulder walls between the courtyard and upper driveway. Spaces between the boulders contain beautiful plantings and a pond was created in the courtyard so the owners could enjoy the sounds of the fountain from inside their home.
