Outdoor rooms are created for entertaining by a cedar pergola providing a “ceiling” of shade across the rear of the home. The tiered retaining wall block is carried across the entire rear yard for consistency and provide an “old world” feeling. Night lighting at the edge of the patio and throughout the deck area allows the space to be used after dark and minimizes the security risk while maximizing the view of the lake.
