Hardscapes Design Meg Arnosti This eroded, shady slope was replaced with a sculptural, artistic garden that helps screen a view of the neighbor's yard. The serpentine walls match the rhythm of the existing wall and contain two terraces. The lower terrace contains a flowering line of hydrangeas to unify the design and bring the tallest wall down to a human scale. Grass was planted on the upper terrace in sunny areas and surrounding areas were planted with masses of pachysandra and are bound by white (Deuchland) Astilbe. |
